OUR WAY OF LIFE As a part of the St. Rose of Lima Parish community, we are a group of young families committed to accompanying each other in living our Catholic faith. We seek to be a vibrant faith community helping others to encounter Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe this begins in our homes with our children and in our marriages as the domestic Church. We invite all married couples and young families to our ministry events to further build the kingdom of God at home and in the world around us! As a community, we put faith at the center of our family life, and look to create strong family cultures, considering every aspect of living and parenting with intention, prayer, and discernment.
Tenets:
It is our intention to fully catechize and faithfully form our children, seeking to give them the fullness of truth and the Whys of what our church believes. We will prioritize a solid foundation of faith to withstand the inevitable trials of their lives, as well as the vocabulary and understanding to identify their own experiences of the divine and transcendent. We will provide frequent opportunities for our children to experience the wonder, beauty, and mystery of God’s creation and his Church.
